Why Teach?
To Teach
To me, teaching is not solely an act of imparting knowledge - it it so much more than that. I have learned that my primary responsibility as a teacher is not merely the presentation of facts, but to lead students to the discovery of abilities and strategies that will assist them in the paths they choose to take in life.
I am thrilled to start my teaching career - this decision has been long in the making. The extraordinary importance of education is a fact that I have held as truth and has motivated me for many years.
I believe in education’s ability to infuse values of acceptance, tolerance, and respect into the leaders of tomorrow.
I believe that my multicultural background affords me an incredible opportunity to positively impact young lives by celebrating social diversity in the classroom and beyond. I believe that learning explodes in environments where differences are abundant and celebrated.
I am excited to continue teaching and learning alongside my students and colleagues.
